A number of projects have been established in the close vicinity of Anandwan. These include:
Salori
Established in 1952, at a distance of 11 kilometres from Warora, the Salori project comprises an outreach programme with technical and handicraft training for rehabilitation of challenged people. It also has a sales outlet of Anandwan products.
Khambada
Established in 1962, at a distance of 23 kilometres from Warora, the Khambada project is engaged in rural development, training and technology transfer for rehabilitation of leprosy patients. It also has a sales outlet of Anandwan products.
Chinora
Established in 1975, at a distance of 3 kilometres from Warora, the Chinora Project is engaged in technical training for the handicapped and rehabilitation of orphans and children of leprosy affected persons.
Chaiti Devali
Established in 1999, the Chaiti Devali project is dedicated to technical and handicraft training and rehabilitation of leprosy cured persons, blind, handicapped and unemployed youth.
Gorakshan
The 65 acre land for this project was donated by a trust called Gorakshan for improved methods of livestock rearing. At a distance of 1 km from Anandwan, the main activity here is agriculture. Gorakshan has one well and one pond. The future of this project has been envisaged as a huge high protein fodder bank for livestock along with a biomass bank for the benefit of surrounding villages.
